“The companies with diversity training are essentially appealing to their customers—a growing population of minorities. In Britain alone, ethnic minorities will make up 30% of the population by 2050. Together, minority groups are a growing demographic. But they can’t simply be ‘lumped’ together, which is where diversity training comes in.”

- Jennifer Brown, CEO of Jennifer Brown Consulting

As a community leader and chaplain Navaid has held many workshops and presentations related to diversity and sensitivity training. These presentations are meant to build the foundation of a better relationship between organizations and their Muslim employees and clients. Studies show the more we know about a community, the better we can engage them.

As part of a holistic approach to building a diverse and inclusive culture, training is an effective tool to promote diversity and educate employees on what diversity and inclusive thinking means in their day-to-day interactions with co-workers, customers, partners, vendors and others.

One of the goals of diversity training in the workplace is to raise awareness of the value of collaborating with people of different cultures, races, genders, ethnicities, beliefs, experiences and ideas. Implementing a diversity training program is also an important step in helping to reduce the risk of workplace discrimination and harassment claims.

Our diversity is our strength only if we know what each community brings to the table. Content and duration of these trainings vary by request and accommodations can be made based upon your organization’s needs.
